Serial Receptor is a DONATEWARE, easy tool to capture all data on your serial ports.
With this tool, it's easy to replace your old on line serial printer by a simple PC and save automatically all your data into a rotating buffer file. If your printer is connected to the parallel port, there exists in the trade parallel/serial converters.

Tips And Tricks
Here are a few tips and tricks to use :
Use INI config file.
- Since v1.4, it's more easy to use INI file for your options configuration.
Save your trap data file.
- It's not recommended to save your rotating buffer to the same place of Serial Receptor application.
Try to use another folder.
AutoSaveFrequency
- Since v1.4.2, this option is expressed in seconds instead of being expressed in minutes.
Add timestamp to data received
- Since v1.4.3, you can setup timestamp option to add date/time when data received.
Filtered list of bytes
- Since v1.4.5, you can set a filter list of bytes used by Serial Receptor to disable some of the data received on the serial port.
